As I sat here reading Michael's blog it reminds me of how thankkful we are to be in this beautiful place. How thankful we are to have met great people like Michael and his wife as well as many others like Bill and Gail that we met at Electric Beach today where we went to watch the dolphins. But also a little saddened because this is the first Thanksgiving in 38 years that I haven't spent with my oldest daughter and 35th without my youngest. Yes, there is a price to pay for coming to paradise. But Frank and I are thankful for his oldest daughter's recent delivery of a healthy son and the first Thanksgiving for his other daughter's daughter. As Michael comments we've known many and lost many over ther years and many have taken the places of those we've lost. But we never forget. Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to remember those who have brought us so many wonderful memories. As for being in Hawaii we are so glad we made the choice to move here. Every day we wake up to such beauty and are so grateful. We love our life here. Aloha lives!

We are the buyers mentioned in Michael's blog this week. Tony Dias is truly our hero as is Michael. Even though we know Michael is working with other clients, he has this knack of making us feel like we're the only ones. He is thorough every step of the way. He strives to bring the best deal to the table. And, what the heck! He's a heck of nice guy! We are thrilled to have had the pleasure and privilege to meet and work with him. Thank you, Michael. Thank you for introducing us to Tony as well. Our dream of living in paradise has come true. Aloha!

"this will be the first time Disney will build a Hotel without an accompanying park" not true, Disney built (and still operates) a resort on Hilton Head Island, SC.
It's one of my favorite resorts to visit, and I'm sure the new resort in Hawaii will be one of my favorites as well.
One interesting aspect of the Hilton Head resort is that it's not "overly" Disney. What I mean by that is, you don't see Mickey Mouse heads everywhere, you actually forget you're at a Disney property. However, everyone who works there is pure Disney, ensuring that you'll have a vacation that you'll remember forever, and making sure that every detail is perfect.
